Thanks for a great read! I had read the sample chapter before receiving a printed copy, which in my opinion is a superior way to view a technical manual like this.

Personally I do not feel the sample chapter is the best example of the books content. What it does do is provide an idea of the approach and audience who will benefit from a reference manual like this. As this title is quite a thick book, I would recommend choosing a printed copy so you have it to hand when planning a project or a development site.

A few topics I was really interested in, and would have liked to have seen go further details. I guess entire books can be written on each of the subjects, the Author has done a good job providing URL links to further references.

Another good title from Packt, and one which shows good knowledge from the Author and how flexible the Joomla! CMS really is!
